My fitness journey all started with my long time dream of joining the police force. At the time I felt unfit, tired and un motivated so decided to do something about it! I trained for just under a year to achieve my goal. I felt fitter than ever, lost the weight I wanted and finally felt motivated. Unfortunately, due to a lifelong shoulder injury my police force dreams were suddenly stopped and was unable to apply, I thought though – if I can train, injury or not and achieve my own fitness goals, why not help others achieve their goals and dreams too. So with that, I got my qualifications in Personal Training and have never looked back!
What does fitness mean to me?
For me, it’s definitely an escape. It is that punching bag I need sometimes or my own 50 minutes where I can challenge myself and my limits. It’s about lengthening my lifespan and making my life more enjoyable, full and adventurous. It’s not just the gym or bootcamp it is achieving my goals in a physical way.
Strong Like A Girl to me?
A community where women can empower each other through fitness, nutrition and support. A group of ladies who we can rely on and lean on if we need it! It’s not just a bootcamp, we are a family at the end of the day. My ladies goals are my goals and together we will nail them!
What inspires your everyday life?
My parents hands down. The coolest people I know and my motivation to get up and live life to the fullest – life’s too short right!I wouldn’t be the person I was today without them and their constant encouragement.
One thing you can’t leave the house without?
A bottle of water! Apparently, I am a bottle hoarder! Least it’s just water! HA
